Filmscores
About
Florian Jankowski is a Dutch film composer focused on creating the perfect atmosphere, music or sound design for distinct commercials, films and documentaries.
As an experienced producer and sound engineer, he works from his cosy studio based in Amsterdam; perfect for elaborate studio-sessions and musical ventures.
Since focusing his career on film-scoring, Florian uses his broad musical upbringing to create emotive soundscapes and scores. His compositions are strongly influenced by contemporary work; by combining both classical and electronic elements, he strives to sculpt an intimate and cinematic sound.
Years of experience as a performing musician make him a versatile and easy to work with composer. Besides obtaining his MA degree in film composing, at the conservatory in Amsterdam, he also knows his way around the technical side of things. While working at Studio Sound Enterprise with Frans Hagenaars, he was able to gain a lot of know-how before moving to Berlin to develop his own musical imprint.
As a one-man company, Florian is the perfect fit for independent and artistic filmmakers. He also feels right at home being part of a large post-production team, adjusting his workflow to the specific needs of the project at hand.
